[Abstract]

Object: To evaluate the influence of the laparoscopic colorectal cancer radical resection on exfoliation of cancer cells .Methods: Between the April 2005 and March 2006, from the different position colorectal cancer beyond Dukes C patients were performed the laparoscopic colorectal cancer radical resection random draw 30 cases as experiment group, and from the different position colorectal cancer beyond Dukes C patients were performed open colorectal cancer radical cure resection random draw 30 cases as contrast group. After dissecting the peritoneum and before suturing peritoneum, 500 ml isotonic sodium chloride solution was infused into peritoneum lavage. By finding disseminated tumour cells with thinprep cytological test(TCT)and measuring carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) with immunoradiative active(RIA),we compare the influence of the laparoscopic on cancer cells exfoliated with laparotomy.Results: Preoperatively the differences of CEA amounts and checking rate of disseminated tumour cells between different histology categories , between different clinical Dukes stages, different tumor location, had significance(P<0.05). Postoperatively CEA amounts and checking rate of disseminated tumour cells increased and increment had significance (P<0.05) . The difference of the increment between the experiment group and the contrast group hasdstatistics significance (P<0.05) . The differences of histology categories?tumor location?clinical Dukes stages on the increment have not statistics significance (P>0.05 ) . Conclusion: the increment of CEA amounts and checking rate of disseminated tumour cells are different. the amounts of the laparoscopic colorectal cancer radical cure resection is lower than that of the laparotomy.
