Origin PC joins the 11-inch, rebadged gaming laptop party, outs the EON 11-S
Last week may have drawn to a close, but the march of Clevo news continues. On the heels of Maingear announcing an 11-inch gaming notebook, Origin PC is throwing its own ultraportable into the ring: the EON 11-S. Though this is a new model for Origin PC (the smallest laptop it's ever sold, in fact), it's not quite fresh to us: this is the same exact Clevo-made notebook Maingear unveiled two days ago, only re-badged under Origin PC's brand and available in a wider range of colors. As far as performance goes, then, that means you can expect Ivy Bridge processors, a 2GB NVIDIA GT 650M GPU, Optimus graphics-switching technology and a battery rated for 6.5 hours of runtime. In Origin PC's case, the laptop starts at $999 (compared with $1,099 for Maingear), though you'll have to head over to Origin's site for a breakdown of what specs you'll be getting at that lower price.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Renew Wedding Vows in Paris
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon took a vacation this week to the most romantic city on the planet, and the famous couple made the most of it:
They renewed their vows in Paris!
With the Eiffel Tower in the background and with Cannon donning a white tuxedo and Mariah in a similar-colored gown, Cannon got down on one knee once again and professed his love for his lovely wife.
It's not the first time the pair has renewed its vows, either.
With Rev. Al Sharpton officiating, Carey and Cannon did so last year in the hospital where twins Moroccan and Monroe were born. Speaking of those adorable tykes:

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is coming! And in just a few days we'll be live from London to bring you full coverage of the announcement event. This week saw an insane level of hype and anticipation building for Samsung's new flagship smartphone. Tiny N64 controller guaranteed to cause serious crampage
On the list of nerd pastimes, miniaturization ranks pretty high. So, we're not exactly surprised to see a tiny N64 controller, but we're kind of amazed that this rather extreme hack managed to avoid detection since January. The itty bitty controller isn't a mod, but an original construction built around a PIC microcontroller. You might notice that the yellow C buttons are absent, instead Kirren (the creator) went with a tiny four way switch, which you'll see above the blue and green A and B buttons. The design skips the L key, but you'll find R and Z on the rear face. For a short clip of it in action head on after the break and, if you want to build one yourself, hit up the source.

Study: 95% Of Independent Restaurants Don?t Have Mobile Sites, Only 40% Have Online Menus
Restaurants just love to put Flash intros with auto-playing music and animations on their front pages. If you are trying to look at one of these sites on your mobile browser without Flash, chances are you can't even get to anything else on the site because far too often, there is no way to bypass the animation and get to the information you want, or because the complete site was designed in flash. It's not just these obnoxious animations that make restaurant websites a hassle, though. According to a new study by Restaurant Science, a restaurant industry information and analytics provider, one out of eight full service restaurant chains and a depressing one out of twenty independent restaurants don't have a mobile website. Sony ST21i 'Tapioca' spotted, Xperia Sola gets a little brother
We've seen references to a budget-oriented Sony phone codenamed "Tapioca" before, but until now the device itself has remained a mystery. Things are becoming a little clearer today, however, with the first leaked images of the phone showing up on Greek site ?Techblog?. Rumored specs, included along with the photos, include a 3.2-inch HVGA screen, an 800MHz CPU, 512MB of RAM and a 3MP camera. Interestingly for a budget device, the Tapioca is said to run Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich, so it looks like Sony's had no trouble packing ICS onto lower-end hardware.
The front of the device is the spitting image of the Xperia Sola, a mid-range Sony handset that made waves shortly after MWC due to its "floating touch" tech. Given the Tapioca's budget leanings, though, we'd be surprised to see floating touch lurking inside this device. No pricing or availability details are provided along with today's leak, but an earlier roadmap suggests it'll hit in July around the €150 mark.
